Fort Drum & Watertown: How to Order Winter Wheels and Tires Online (Without the Wrong Fitment)

If you're stationed at Fort Drum or driving around Watertown and Carthage, you already know winter here is no joke. Plenty of people PCS in from the south on summer or worn all-season tires and find that out the first week of lake-effect snow. The fix is simple: the right tires on the right wheels, ordered before the roads turn.

Step 1: Know what fits before you pay

Most bad wheel and tire orders come down to three numbers: bolt pattern, offset and tire size. Get one wrong and the set doesn't bolt on, rubs, or throws your speedometer off. Our Fitment Finder only shows wheels and tires that match your vehicle's bolt pattern, center bore, wheel size and offset window.

Then we check it again by hand. Before anything is ordered, RCDJ confirms your year, make, model and trim, and reaches out if anything doesn't line up. You get the right part the first time.

Step 2: Send us these four things

  • Year, make, model and trim (trim matters, since the same model can use different sizes)

  • A photo of the tire placard inside your driver's door jamb

  • A photo of your current tire sidewall showing the size

  • Whether your car has factory TPMS (most 2008+ cars and trucks do)
